The Workshop has organized a number of publications, with more on the way!
Edited Volume
We have an edited volume under contract with Springer Publishing coming soon. As part of the process for creating the volume, authors are invited to an in-person event at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley to collaborate on their works in progress, leading to a more cohesive and discursive book than many edited volumes. Below is the Call for Chapters:

Book Series
Though not directly affiliated, the organizers of the Digital Worlds Workshop as well as several past participants are on the editorial board for a series on Digital Arts and Humanities from Anthem Press. The series “collects brief monographs that critically examine the most pressing issues of our digital world. We publish incisive works that engage themes in philosophy of the digital, digital humanities, digital aesthetics, and digital poetics. To stage encounters among disparate conversations around the digital and to extend those conversations in new directions, we encourage proposals for monographs that provide a historical and philosophical analysis of, or a response to, urgent issues arising within a now expansive digital arts and digital humanities literature. Recognizing that digital studies is fundamentally syncretic, this series calls to theorists and artists alike to construct synergistic and singular engagements with matters digital.”
